As we head into the final few rounds of the LCU Leagues our teams have all performed well.
Our Heidenfeld and O’Hanlon teams stand in 6th place, while our BEA team is 3rd with the next match against the league leaders to decide if they still have a chance at promotion. Our Bodley team have continued their unbeaten record this season. They currently sit in 2nd 1.5 points behind the league leaders, but with a game in hand which means they can still take top spot.

Inchicore chess club had 7 members attend the Kilkenny Chess Congress over the weekend.
In the Majors section we had John Curtis who got a very credible 2.5, including a win over a player rated 1924.
In the James Mason section we had (by name and final score) Nial 4, Andy 3.5, Ray 3, Chris 2 and Dougie 1.5
In the Challengers section we had Stephen who finished on 3.5
